It’s been quite the month for Star Wars fans. Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi continued the main narrative of the beloved franchise, purposefully subverting fan expectations and polarizing audiences. And aside from setting up the eventual conclusion of J.J. Abrams’ Episode IX, the most recent sequel also served as Carrie Fisher’s final appearance as General Leia. Everyone in the Star Wars community felt Fisher’s absence during the promotion and release of The Last Jedi, especially as we recently met the anniversary of her shocking death. While plenty of folks like Mark Hamill have posted touching tributes to the legendary actress and writer, some fans have paid tribute in a unique and very Carrie way over at Lucasfilm. Namely, by placing Coca Cola bottles alongside a touching note. Fisher was famous for her constant Coke consumption, and the fans seem to be honoring this in her death. Check it out.
